Todd Olson is the owner of Coldwater's Church of Watcher which is essentially just a wedding venue. As there's obviously nobody ready to get married in Coldwater yet, and the Church has nothing to sell, I'm not entirely sure how Todd is going to make money at the moment. However he decided to just drop in quickly and set the entrance fee to very expensive. Weddings are quite costly.

     It's actually a nice place, and I'm excited to have some weddings here in the future.

However, Todd's roommate James Brady owns Coldwater's Appliances & Fixtures. It sells things like tvs, computers, lighting, and kitchen and bathroom appliances and fixtures.

And we're open!

Our first customer, townie Martha Salas. Looks like she's in need of a dishwasher and/or microwave.

Here's our finest dishwasher, just like you asked! Townie Josiah McCann doesn't seem convinced.

I forgot how big this place is. James is definitely going to need to hire some staff so he doesn't need to walk all over.

Come on James, you can do it.

And work day over. The Appliance/Fixtures store made ~$3,000 and reached rank 1. 

Meanwhile, back at the house. Todd has a want to buy a bookcase, so in 6 hours when James returns home Todd can go to Coldwater's bookstore, Wormbook.

He also wants to gain a cooking skill, but I don't think he's going to get it this time.

Ah, Wormbook. Todd doesn't have a lot of money so let's be smart about this. I've decided that whenever a playable sim buys anything that I'll change the color for them. That way it's not as if they're stuck with the color the thing they bought came in.

Ready to check out. On the way to the register Todd introduced himself to the woman in yellow, Kara Garner. She owns Coldwater's Civil Services building. She's a knowledge asp, just like Todd.

Any time now.

James used some of his earnings to redecorate his bedroom, so it's not just the most basic furniture anymore. It still needs work but he'll need to earn a bit more. The rest of the house belongs to Todd who, unless there's a wedding, isn't earning anything. So the rest of the house might not be very nice for a while. Unless of course if James feels like helping Todd out, but they're only acquaintances at the moment.

Hey! Todd walked past James on his way to the kitchen.

Todd got that cooking point he wanted making mac & cheese for dinner.

James is laughing....at the rug.

So how was work today?

Well, I made a lot of money! I think it's heading towards being a very successful business.

Todd wasn't quite as tired yet, so like all true knowledge sims he went straight to his telescope.

And a few hours later Todd is ready for bed too.

And as it's after midnight, that's where I'll leave them! These first rounds are only 1 day long but then I'll go to a few days. Thanks for viewing and I'll see you soon for the Garner-Pugh household!
