Well I guess we're starting the round with the bin on fire from the thunderstorm...

As well as the tree, but that's more normal.

Forgot to put a sink in the kitchen, so Kara has to wash her cereal bowl in the downstairs bathroom. That'll be first on the agenda to buy.

Meanwhile upstairs, Poppy is crafting some Sir-Bricks-A-Lot to sell in her toy store, the name of which escapes me at the moment. We're not going to be going there today, it still needs a bit of construction so it's not ready for customers yet.

However, Coldwater's Civil Center, or the CCC, is ready for customers. It's owned by Kara and sells things like smoke & burglar alarms, ceiling fans, alarm clocks, garden nicknacks, cellphones, as well as serves as a place for residents to apply for jobs, use the free wifi, and has the supernatural controller and find-a-mate crystal ball shall I ever need to use those.

Looks like Helena Friedman wants to buy a clock. She owns the furniture store.

Townie Mason Sharp needs assistance. Well for starters, you're in the wrong room.

Oh of course, fire alarms are extremely important. Let me show you where they are!

I swapped out my default replacements the other day, and this is what Reporter Berjes Taylor wears now I guess...

Soon enough everyone in town will be masters of the register.

Berjes you were literally just in the other room, don't try and act like you didn't see the holiday decorations 5 seconds ago.

Taadaa! Sir-Bricks-A-Lot is done! It's so cute.

Since Poppy used the household funds to make her bricks, and the house belongs to Kara, she needed to take out a bit of her savings to pay Kara back for the supplies.

As any Family asp does, Poppy wants to gain a cooking skill point. 

She also wants to fall in love. Well the good news is there's no plant sims in Coldwater yet, but the bad news is there's no rich sims either. (+ yes I know it's cut off, I play in windowed mode so it gets cut off like that)

Poppy decided to try and meet some men on the online chat. This won't show if she has chemistry with them or not, but it'll at least let her know them.

Hmm, well... Xander is gay but she can still know him. Owen is a Family/Romance Cancer just the same as she is, but he's a redhead not black hair and I don't remember his turn ons/off.

She's talking to Owen. I wonder what they're talking about.

She also met Dominic on the chat. He's a townie, and I unfortunately don't remember any of his stats or even his surname actually. Xander Kaufman is the dark red, and Owen Peters is the light red.

Owen decided to call her right away! He must have enjoyed their chat.

Poppy seems to be enjoying it.

Just Knowledge sims being Knowledge sims.

Poppy was ready for bed despite it being only 8pm. She must have been tired from the toy crafting she did earlier, because her energy was quite low.

Kara discovered a star!

She then purchased a tv and couch with her star money. Don't ask how she got them when she didn't go to the furniture store. Let's just assume anything I buy from buy mode was bought online or something. I just hated that the living room was entirely empty. Now it's less empty, and Kara has a whopping $36 left. Yay!

I just said you had $36 to your name and now you want to buy a car?!

And Kara's off to bed, and it's midnight so it's the end of their first round! 

As I mentioned in the Olson-Brady round that these first rounds are just 1 day but then round 2 and so on will be more days. So I hope you're enjoying these sims so far and will want to keep seeing more!
